Homecoming at South Alabama is our annual tradition to celebrate Jaguar pride and spirit! Homecoming week for 2022 is October 10 - 15. The experience features a lineup of events open to the entire Jaguar community. The Homecoming festivities will commence Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium when your football team battles against University of Louisiana Monroe.
Alumni Reunion Weekend
In addition to Homecoming, Alumni Reunion Weekend will take place Oct. 13-15. From tailgates to campus tours and reunion parties, there is no better time to reconnect with your South Alabama family.
Sheet Sign Contest
Show your spirit by creating a Homecoming Sheet Sign! This competition is open to individual students, Student Organizations, or USA Departments. Sheet signs must be Hung by October 3, 2022. Winner will receive a USA Gift Basket!
A-Frame Contest
Time to cover the campus with Jaguar Spirit with A-Frames! A limited number of A-Frames will be provided. This competition is open to all registered Student Organizations only! The winning Student Organization will receive a suite reservation with catering for a future USA Basketball Game at the Mitchell Center.
Office Decorating Contest
The Homecoming Office Decorating Contest is open to all USA Departments. Decorate your office with USA Pride for Homecoming Week! All offices must be completed by October 10, 2022. The winning office will receive a catered lunch or breakfast for a future meeting.

The Homecoming Parade this year will follow behind The Prowl at 1:40pm on Homecoming Game Day, October 15, 2022. Represent your Organization and Department in front of hundreds of Jaguar Fans!

Homecoming Week kicks off with everyone’s favorite traditional program, Junk the Jungle! Junk the Jungle will take place in the traffic circle and students are encouraged to toss tissue in “the jungle.” SGA will supply the tissue!
